This is a June to March program especially designed for Kindergarten students with emphasis on independent reading. In this course the 42 phonetic sounds are taught which provides the early foundation to reading. Children develop sound recognition skills, blending sounds into words and spelling with the help of sounds.
This is level 2 of our Phonic program for Senior Kindergarten students. In this June to March program, children are taught to read level one books using the 42 sounds. Special importance is given to communal reading and individual reading. At the end of the program children are confident readers and can comprehend the language better.
There are 4 levels in GROW I, II, III & IV. GROW I is from Class I students, II for Class II and so on. This program introduces grammar concepts are introduced as per their levels. This course is intended to improve vocabulary and comprehension skills. The students are taught spelling patterns along with the use of dictionary.
